These are the terms in force today. They have not been through a lawyer yet; when they have, this page changes and the date above changes with it.
Your projects and content
You own what you post. By publishing a project, updates, or milestones you make them public and let others view and follow them.
Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share, and don’t post anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
The Day 0 record
A Day 0 scan is not deleted or edited on request — including yours. What you get instead is a dated reply, published next to it.
When you open a project, AngelRun scans the idea and freezes what it found that day: the rivals it saw, the signals it read, and the version of the engine that read them. That snapshot stays on the project page, dated.
We will not take it down because it later became inconvenient, and we will not quietly change it. If a scan got your market wrong — and it can — write to us and your response is published alongside it with the date you sent it. The disagreement becomes part of the record instead of replacing it.
This cuts both ways on purpose. A record that could be edited once it stopped flattering you would be worth nothing to the people reading it, and a record you could not answer back to would not be fair to you. So it stays, and you get the reply.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity under it. Don’t misuse the platform — no spam, scraping, automated abuse, or impersonation.
In particular, don’t use AngelRun’s name, or the name of any judge, partner, or investor featured here, to raise money, solicit investment, or imply an endorsement off-platform.
Seasons, milestones and prizes
Nothing on AngelRun is a guarantee of investment, and AngelRun does not provide financial or investment advice.
Milestones are founder-declared and show progress only — they don’t earn or trigger anything automatically. Entering a season, and any selection within it, are entirely at AngelRun’s discretion.
Any prize, investment, introduction, or demo-day spotlight happens off-platform.
Reporting and moderation
You can report a project, update, or account that breaks these terms. AngelRun may review reports and, at its discretion, hide or remove content or accounts that violate them.
That discretion is separate from, and does not create, any obligation to review or act on any particular report.
Availability and liability
AngelRun is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may change or pause features at any time.
To the extent permitted by law, AngelRun isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are reflected in the “last updated” date in the header above; continued use means you accept the current terms.
